LBrock's Blog #1-"The Barn"
The short story, "The Barn", was a great example of how doing daring things as a young kid usually teaches you a life lesson. Just as the young girl in the story learned her life lesson by daring to walk across beams at high heights and swinging from a rope and dropping from high heights, I learned my life lesson as a child to never run in front of a herd of guys that are much larger and faster than because you will end up getting trampled! The story does a great job of portraying life how most people live it, and that is by showing that it only takes once to learn your lesson after doing something that hurts you.

Very true, pain is the best motivator when it comes to learning things and it holds true throughout life.
